Hi, I’m Gina!

I’m a visual artist drawn to the quiet intersection between observation and imagination. My work spans watercolor and mixed media, moving fluidly between representational and abstract approaches as I explore how light, color, and texture shape emotional experience.

I’m interested in the relationships between material and mood — how a wash of pigment, a line, or a fragment of form can evoke memory, stillness, or motion. Each piece is an experiment, a way of learning what the medium can reveal rather than what I can control.

My creative path has taken many shapes: from custom framing and art handling to years surrounded by antiques, to my current studies in Art at Arizona State University. Those experiences taught me to value craftsmanship, curiosity, and the patience of process. I love learning new methods and adapting my practice as I go — the evolution is part of the work itself.

Based in Arizona, I continue to explore different techniques and visual languages while building a body of work that reflects experimentation, openness, and attention to detail.
